Motor Safety Features:

Cosmos Pumps Sludge Dewatering Pumps have electric motors equipped with insulation of class H. The high insulation class of the motor increases its durability and safety. Also, we use B1 Metallic Thermal Switches in the stator winding of the motors. In case the temperature of the motor becomes excessive these switches will trip. This prevents the motor from overheating and damage.

These pumps have a specific gravity of up to 1.4 which is beneficial in pumping dense sludge. It can pump liquids of 5 to 8 ph value. Thus these dewatering pumps can be used for a number of applications. Our sludge dewatering pumps can handle solid particles since they have a handling capacity of up to 75 mm.
