Role Summary

The VP – Sales will be responsible for building and executing a strategic sales roadmap, driving revenue growth, nurturing key customer and channel relationships, and developing a high-performance sales organization. The role requires a deep understanding of solution-selling in industrial and infrastructure segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the company’s sales strategy and execution plan across geographies and sectors
  • Develop and drive the annual sales operating plan (AOP) and meet revenue, margin, and market share targets
  • Lead and mentor national and regional sales teams; ensure performance accountability through KPIs and regular reviews
  • Optimize the dealer and distributor network and expand strategic partnerships
  • Deeply understand customer requirements, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to shape offerings and positioning
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, pre-sales, and service teams to ensure an end-to-end, value-driven customer experience
  • Drive institutional and key account sales by building long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Implement and scale CRM tools, sales dashboards, and data-driven decision-making practices
  • Represent Cosmos Pumps in industry events, forums, and strategic discussions

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of B2B industrial sales experience with proven leadership roles
  • Strong network and understanding of sectors such as infrastructure, construction, mining, water utilities, or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated ability to scale revenue, build sales teams, and improve sales processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel extensively as per business needs
