Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:
• Identify and target new business opportunities in the Sugar and Paper industry.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
• Expand the company’s presence by acquiring new clients and enhancing relationships
with existing ones.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for lead generation and brand positioning.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including plant heads,
procurement managers, and technical heads.
• Regularly follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and address any
concerns.
• Organize and conduct product presentations, demos, and technical discussions with
clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively.
3. Sales Performance & Reporting:
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.
• Track and report on sales performance metrics, including conversion rates and revenue
growth.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer data.
4. Industry & Product Knowledge:
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio and its applications in
the Sugar and Paper industry.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients when required.

5-12 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in the Sugar or Paper industry.

Skills and Qualifications

 Experience & Expertise:
• 5-12 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in the Sugar or Paper
industry.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, pumps, or mechanical equipment used in
Sugar/Paper industries.
• Experience in handling large-scale industrial clients.
Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work independently and manage sales operations efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex customer requirements.

Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or a related field is preferred.
• An MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is a plus.

Preferred Industry Exposure:
• Sugar Industry: Sales of pumps, motors, valves, or industrial machinery.
• Paper Industry: Sales of equipment, machinery, or industrial components.
• Experience in mechanical and process equipment sales will be an added advantage.
