One of the largest oil refineries in the southern region faced a significant challenge in maintaining smooth operations due to sludge accumulation at the bottom of the FO (Fossil Oil) tank. The sludge buildup was causing multiple operational issues, including:

Upon receiving the requirement, our technical team conducted a detailed site inspection and research to understand the sludge composition, tank dimensions, and suction conditions. We deployed 3 units of CAP 150H (30 HP) pumps on rental for 2 months, along with special heavy-duty hoses designed specifically for sludge handling applications. One pump was kept on standby to ensure uninterrupted performance during peak operations. These high-capacity pumps were strategically positioned to remove sludge from the tank base effectively, ensuring continuous suction and discharge.
This project once again demonstrated the pumps’ strength, reliability, and adaptability in handling challenging industrial conditions.
