ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Quality & Testing to lead the Quality and Testing function and ensure that all products meet defined quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the Quality & Testing function, team, and processes.
• Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, inspection plans, and testing protocols.
• Ensure incoming, in-process, and final inspection of products and components.
• Lead performance and testing of pumps as per approved specifications and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ISO, BIS, industry, and customer quality standards.
• Monitor quality performance and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyse quality issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
• Manage customer complaints, quality issues, and resolution within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Service, and other departments for quality improvement.
• Develop and monitor quality KPIs, inspection reports, test reports, and MIS.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external/customer audits.
• Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction, and process standardisation.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment.
• Develop and train the Quality & Testing team on quality standards, procedures, and testing practices.

Skills and Qualifications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in Quality & Testing, preferably in the Pump / Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of pump testing, inspection, measurement, and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience in handling customer complaints, audits, CAPA, and quality documentation.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting/MIS.
